Miss you already...

It's so hard to leave our girl! We are in a rental car somewhere in North Carolina on our drive back to DC and the "real world". Final cleanup and securing the boat took us until 4:30 pm today, but it was worth it to do all we could to leave her in good shape. Megan cleaned all the things, while Darren made sure we had double dock lines on every cleat!

Thanks to all our mentors and friends for the advice and help with getting this far.  We've learned so much and can't wait to get back to Charleston and finish the journey to the Chesapeake later this spring. We know the folks at Cooper River marina will keep a good eye on her for us, and we'll be back before we know it.  Bye for now - and as sailors always say: fair winds and following seas.
